Does UniversaCare accept Medicaid for veterans’ care in New York?
No. UniversaCare no longer accepts Medicaid or Medicaid MLTC plans in New York. Families pay privately or use long-term care insurance or VA benefits, and older adults who are not on Medicaid may qualify for EISEP. Call us 24/7 at (866) 986-3356 and we’ll walk you through the options.
