Personal Care Aide (PCA) Job in Mount Kisco, Northern Westchester, NY
UniversaCare is hiring a personal care aide to provide care to clients in their own homes in northern Westchester. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Hiring, onboarding and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Northern Westchester office at 295 Main Street, 2nd Floor, Mount Kisco, NY 10549.
Pay: $19.65 to $25 per hour. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it.
Schedule: Part-time and full-time.
What you’ll do
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily routines
- Prepare meals and do light housekeeping, laundry and shopping
- Keep clients company and help them stay safe at home
- Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your supervisor
What you need
- Completed New York Personal Care Aide training, or a New York HHA certificate
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
