Home Health Aide (HHA) Job in Bronx, NY
UniversaCare is hiring a home health aide to provide care to clients in their own homes in the Bronx, New York. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office.
Pay: $19.65 to $25 per hour. The starting rate is New York’s home health aide minimum wage and rises each year with it.
Schedule: Part-time and full-time.
What you’ll do
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around the home
- Prepare meals and help clients eat
- Keep the home clean and safe, including light housekeeping and laundry
- Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your nurse supervisor
What you need
- A current New York State Home Health Aide certificate
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
