Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job in Stamford, CT
UniversaCare is hiring a personal care assistant to provide care to clients in their own homes in Fairfield County. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Hiring, onboarding and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Southern Connecticut office at 27 5th Street, Stamford, CT 06905.
Pay: $16.94 to $25 per hour.
Schedule: Part-time and full-time.
What you’ll do
- Help clients at home with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
- Prepare meals and do light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and go with clients to appointments
- Follow each client’s care plan and report changes to the office
What you need
- Caregiving experience is preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
