Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job in Fairfield County, CT: Stamford, Bridgeport, Norwalk and Danbury
UniversaCare is hiring personal care assistants to provide care to clients in their own homes across Fairfield County, including Stamford, Bridgeport, Norwalk, Danbury and nearby towns. This is a field position: you’ll travel to clients’ homes, not work in an office. Hiring, onboarding and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Southern Connecticut office at 27 5th Street, Stamford, CT 06905.
Pay: $16.94 to $25 per hour, based on experience and case needs.
Schedule: Weekday, weekend, live-in and part-time options.
What you’ll do
- Help clients at home with personal care, hygiene and mobility
- Support daily routines: meals, medication reminders and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and help clients live with dignity at home
- Follow each client’s care plan and report changes to the office
What you need
- PCA certification, or willingness to get certified in our office
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Home care experience is preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role
